Sec. of State Rice referred to the conflict in Lebanon as “birthing pains”.  Jon Stewart had an excellent take on that, courtesy of onegoodmove.org.

My question:  if it was birthing pains, wouldn’t Israel and Hezbollah had to have, you know, had a night of passionate fucking to bring them about?  You know, some candle light, a nice moonlit stroll, perhaps some solid, intimate foreplay?  Don’t recall seeing that on CNN…
